Delegate Statement
As a delegate, I support this Protocol Upgrade, which enhances the Standard Rollup Charter’s Onchain Criteria by incorporating additional standardization requirements previously enforced off-chain by the Optimism Foundation.
This non-fork upgrade ensures a seamless transition without requiring smart contract or node software updates. It also introduces Superchain Registry 2.0, a key improvement that refactors the registry to align with these changes and improve maintainability.
By strengthening Onchain Criteria for Standard Chains, this upgrade lays essential groundwork as we move toward more chains reaching Stage 1 in the Superchain. I believe this is a meaningful step in increasing security, transparency, and efficiency across the ecosystem, and I support its adoption.
